Daniel Ladizinsky, MD
Dr. Ladizinsky is an innovative, entrepreneurial surgeon (now retired after 35 years surgical experience) who continues to apply hard-earned basic scientific and clinical knowledge to improving surgical outcomes. He has earned board certifications in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQSH). His focus is on surgeon education and developing new clinical applications for platform technology that solves traditional suture/staple related skin injuries. Dr. Ladizinsky speaks frequently for lectures/labs mostly involving challenges in soft tissue repair, flaps and grafts.
P. Kasi Ramanathan, MD
Dr. Ramanathan a graduate of Rush Medical College and completed a Cardiology Fellowship and a Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He practices with ProMedica Physicians Cardiology in Toledo, OH and is a board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine.
Raquel Sugino, DPM
Dr. Sugino is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in comprehensive reconstruction of the foot and ankle. She is board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by ABFAS. Dr. Sugino advanced her surgical and clinical training by completing an additional year of fellowship at the Newport Advanced Foot & Ankle Fellowship in Newport Beach, CA. Her training focused on reconstructive forefoot, hindfoot and ankle surgery, including complex Charcot reconstructions utilizing Ilizarov external fixators, limb deformity correction, lower extremity trauma, sports medicine, total ankle replacement, and plastics procedures including advanced muscle, adipofascial and skin flaps for limb salvage.
Shawn Ward, DPM
Dr. Ward is an advanced Foot and Ankle Surgeon who has practiced in the Lima area since 1999. Prior to settling in Lima he did his residency training at the Dayton VA medical center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and VA outpatient clinic in Columbus Ohio. He has also had advanced training in wound care medicine, limb preservation surgery, peripheral nerve surgery to help function and relieve chronic pain, Orthoplastics: latest skin and muscle flaps, reconstructive deformity correction, trauma, and Ilizarov external fixation techniques. Dr. Ward is currently Board Certified in wound care by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Podiatry, which has led him to be a vital part of the St. Rita’s wound clinic where he serves as a staff physician to treat all types of wounds involving the lower extremity. He is also Board Certified by the ABFAS. He has previously served as past Chief of Podiatry Surgical section for both St. Rita’s and Lima Memorial Hospital. He currently serves on the credentialing committee for Cornerstone. Also, currently serves as the chairman of the Infection Control Committee for St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Ahmad Younes, MD
Dr. Younes is an Interventional Cardiologist/Endovascular Specialist. He is Fellowship trained in the following areas: Advanced Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine (Endovascular Structural), Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine, and Cardiovascular Medicine. His fellowships and residency were completed at Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Younes practices with ProMedica Physicians Cardiology and
ProMedica Physicians Jobst Vascular.
